Darn you snow day!

So earlier today when I was so excited about a snow day... yeah, I forgot a couple things. I forgot that we have one husband, one pregnant wife, and one shovel!

Darn you snow!

It was almost two feet deep in some places! On the bright side, one of our neighbors hauled their snowblower up and down the alley. After I shoveled as much as I was going to shovel, they cleared out the area that the plow normally would clear. Somehow, with the amount of snow we got, I wouldn't be surprised if the plow didn't make it through our alley until tomorrow.

Well, the day was fun. Elizabeth and I lounged around a bit, cleaning here and there. We made apple cider and the whole house smells delicious!

This evening we got to go out to the store to pick up the glider that we ordered a while back and now I think the nursery is completely done! How exciting is that!

Disposable diapers came in the mail yesterday and Elizabeth washed them all today! Holy Laundry!

Well, rumor has it we are going to get a few more inches tomorrow. I am not sure where we will ever be able to put it. Maybe we will just have to resign ourselves to staying indoors until it melts!

that would really be
Living the dream!
